The challenges of teaching the theme of relief in school geography: experiences of teaching in Elementary School II

The aim of this article is to analyze the teaching of relief in the school context and to propose resources for working on the theme of relief, based on a lesson developed in a state school in the municipality of Coari. The methodology used to carry out the work involved a bibliographical survey, planning the lesson, researching and preparing the content, carrying out the lesson and analyzing the results. The main results include a theoretical discussion on the subject of relief, addressing the meanings and teaching of relief in the school context, an experience report of the lesson and elevation profiles of the city of Coari - Am as teaching material to work with the students' local context.
