initiatives for social inclusion and urban accessibility in the university environment

This article presents recent actions related to accessibility and social inclusion policies on the campus of State University of Campinas, Brazil. It also reports the progress of the project called "For All to See". Following the action research methodology, in a qualitative approach perspective, it investigates alternatives and proposes solutions to help campus users - people with and without disabilities - to be truly integrated into the university environment, getting to know its physical structure better. Aligned with SDG 11 of UN 2030 Agenda - Social Inclusion and Urban Sustainability, the project also relates to SDGs 3 and 4 - Quality of Life and Education.
