A CLIO: Revista de Pesquisa Histórica tem uma longa tradição na publicação de estudos sobre os oitocentos, e recebemos sempre artigos livres sobre o período. Neste volume, apresentamos aos leitores alguns artigos recebidos que tem em comum o estudo do século XIX, abordando estudos sobre economia e crédito, sobre política liberal e sobre sociabilidades. De uma forma não tão sutil, o leitor verá que os estudos se imbricam em várias questões, como a escravidão e a discussão sobre o trabalho, as estratégias do mercado para conseguir capitais que financiassem atividades econômicas para além da economia de exportação, tudo isso permeado pela discussão política na qual o liberalismo aparece como matriz ideológica, apesar da diversidade de posições que poderia encetar.Downloads
