CULTURAS DO AÇÚCAR EM PERNAMBUCO
Abstract
Há um consenso de que no Nordeste do Brasil se formou umacultura ligada à produção do açúcar. Este artigo pretende apresentar a idéia de que na região monocultora da cana de açúcar formou-se uma variedade cultural que vem sendo vista predominantemente a partir da Casa Grande e já é tempo de os historiadores da cultura voltarem-se para explicações mais atentas às tensões das relações sociais existentes nas expressões da cultura na zona canavieira.Downloads
