DAS PASSEATAS ESTUDANTIS ÀS LUTAS DOS TRABALHADORES RURAIS, 1968 EM PERNAMBUCO
Abstract
Este artigo traz um pouco dos acontecimentos ocorridos em Pernambuco em 1968. Com base em reportagens publicadas em um jornal local, busca demonstrar que, apesar dos estudantes terem um papel importante, outros personagens se destacaram por sua resistência às difíceis condições de vida e trabalho, que se tornaram piores com a ditadura militar. Este texto relata, de maneira sucinta, algumas lutas estudantis por direitos e liberdades, e outras, desenvolvidas por trabalhadores rurais, contra a exploração do patronato, intensificada após 1964.
