MOVIMENTOS REATIVOS E LIDERANÇAS CATÓLICAS NO SÉCULO XIX NO BRASIL.

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Helvetica}Este artigo analisa os movimentos messiânicos no periodo Oitocentista sob um aspecto
conceitual dos movimentos sociais. A partir das referencias teóricas de Tilly analisamos as ações
coletivas no campo como formas reativas, a partir das lideranças religiosas e seu discurso enaltecedor
da tradição. Este é o repertório da ação coletiva identificado nos comportamentos e discursos, a
permanencia de um imaginario contra-reformista e barroco como elemento cimentador dos
movimentos rurais neste período. Assim, o questionamento para tal baseia-se na reflexão e
importância que assumem as lideranças católicas nos meios rurais e seus discursos aglutinadores
calcados na tradição e em elementos contrareformistas, que mantiveram e consolidaram um habitus da
experiência, mas principalmente caracterizaram o repertorio dos conflitos rurais, identificados a partir
da lei de Terras de 1850 ate a primeira metade do seculo XX.
