Este artigo trata da importância da Ponte Suspensa de Caxangá para a comunicação do Recife com a zona da Mata Norte e a preocupação dos construtores com o material de construção e a sua durabilidade.
This article deals with the importance of the suspension bridge of Caxangá for communication between Recife and the northern sugar zone of Pernambuco. It also demonstrates the concerns of the bridges designers with the durability and quality of the materials used in its construction.
