Quero em primeiro lugar saudar Ivone Gebara por sua coragem de romper o silêncio sobre a história social das mulheres e, sobretudo, destacar a inovação de uma teóloga mulher que se contrapõe de forma contundente às injustiças e as desigualdades. Quero destacar, sobretudo, o papel político desta obra.
First of all, I would like to greet Ivone Gebara for her courage to break the silence about women's social history and, above all, to highlight the innovation of a woman theologian who is strikingly opposed to injustice and inequality. Above all, I want to highlight the political role of this work.
