Abstract

O cinquentenário da Revolução de 30 agora comemorado, enseja a renovação das discussões sobre o assunto, com publicações de velhos e novos estudos sobre um movimento marcante da nossa história. Seus mais diferentes aspectos têm merecido ao longo dos anos, pormenorizados estudos. Uns elevados de mitos, outros, com sensibilidade e acurado espírito críticos - todos unânimes ­ na avaliação da importância do cinquentenário movimento.

The fiftieth anniversary of the now celebrated Revolution of 1930 gives rise to renewed discussions on this subject, with publications of old and new studies on a remarkable movement in our history. Its most different aspects have deserved over the years, detailed studies. Some high in myth, others sensitive and accurate in critical spirit - all unanimous in their assessment of the importance of the fiftieth century movement.
