Abstract
O Diretório Pombalino — política elaborada pelo Marquês de Pombal para os indígenas do estado do Grão-Pará e Maranhão em 1757 — foi estabelecido em Pernambuco e suas capitanias anexas em 1758. Por ele foi extinta a administração missionária sobre os índios e suas vidas e trabalhos foram regulamentados. Em contrapartida, tais indivíduos reagiram sempre que puderam às novas diretrizes do Estado Português.Downloads
