ARRAES: DUAS MÃOS E O SENTIMENTO DO MUNDO.
Abstract
O presente trabalho se propõe a resgatar a início da trajetória política do ex-governador Miguel Arraes, interrompida com o golpe de 64, responsável pela sua deposição do Governo, prisão e exílio de 14 anos. Também busca situar as ações desenvolvidas pelo ex-governador e as reações que provocaram, a partir do momento histórico nacional avaliando os fatos que desembocaram na quebra da ordem democrática. Por fim, pretendemos explicar o surgimento do mito de Arraes, tanto pela ligação visceral que estabeleceu com as camadas mais carentes da população, como pelo comportamento assumido perante os rhilitares, pela prisão numa ilha inacessível e, por fim, pelo que ele mesmo chamava de desterro para África. Tais fatos criavam em torno dele uma auréola de mistério e de fetiche.Downloads
