Abstract
Este artigo versa sobre alguns aspectos da produção historiográfica do programa de Pós-graduação em história da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco durante as três últimas décadas. A primeira parte trata dos cortes cronológicos escolhidos pelos alunos do curso de mestrado. A segunda aborda as tendências historiográficas da produção dos mestrandos que trabalharam com a temática da escravidão no Brasil.
