A CONCEPÇÃO RELIGIOSA: O TEMPO COMEÇADO.
Abstract
Este artigo foi escrito com a intenção de realizar uma reflexão sobre o significado do tempo cristão-católico e sua importância para as sociedades ocidentais, especialmente a idéia do tempo linear. A concepção temporal cristã é voltada para o futuro, mas sua prática é uma permanente celebração da memória, cerne de todas as práticas religiosas e litúrgicas, na metáfora de Santo Agostinho : "ventre da alma". Destacamos a repercussão das leituras do Apocalipse na constituição dos movimentos sociais messiânicos. Por fim, compreender a passagem do tempo religioso predominante na sociedade feudal européia para o tempo subordinado às concepções e práticas do capitalismo. Se parti da reflexão de passagens da Bíblia Sagrada católica, apoiei-me também nos escritos de Santo Agostinho, G.J.Whitrow, .Jean Delumeau, K, Mannheim, Le Goff, Louis Châtellier e Norman Cohn.Downloads
