The teaching of History in Brazil faces challenges due to the growing influence of the public sphere, where the school becomes just one of the various learning spaces. In the History Degree at the Federal University of Goiás, teacher formation occurs throughout the entire course, but it is in supervised internships that this process more evidently articulates the dimensions of teaching and research, encouraging projects guided by the assumptions of an expanded history didactics. Additionally, actions developed by the Research and Studies Group in Historical Learning (AprendHis) and the Laboratory of Teaching, Research, and Extension in History (LEPEHIS) connect school, society, and university. The articulation between teaching, Public History, and teacher training highlights the importance of the teacher as a critical mediator of the different knowledge and languages present in the public sphere
