Abstract

O artigo procura resgatar o valor didático de produção do conhecimento. Lembra os perigos tanto da produção puramente acadêmica que reduz o saber a uma dimensão cognitiva-instrumental, quanto de uma prática social que não seria questionada em processos de argumentação. Além disso, o artigo insiste sobre a importância da limitação histórica dos conceitos produzidos em experienciais determinadas em tal época e tal lugar. Esta extrapolação é frequente e se torna colonizadora quando estas categorias deslocadas do “seu chão histórico” são transpostas por intelectuais em situações que as classes oprimidas vivem e entendem de outro jeito e com outra dimensão. Ameaçamos impor demais e entender de menos.
