Why teach theater at school?

In this article, we try to argue, through a brief analysis of both history of theater and theater pedagogy, that the main function of theater teaching in the school scenario is the aesthetic-political education and that the scenic-representative arts are those that already by their nature can offer the development of their citizenship.
