Abstract

This work tries to briefly analyze the considerations of the literature theorist Boris Eichenbaum (1886-1959) about Lev Tolstoy’s (1828-1910) Anna Karenina. From the reading of his commentaries of his book Lev Tolstoy in the seventies on the novel, we tried to present the course of the analysis proposed by the theoretic, since, until today, it is not available to the Portuguese speaking public.
