Doutor em Teoria da Literatura pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), é professor Adjunto de Literatura da Língua Inglesa da Faculdade de Formação de Professores de Nazaré da Mata, unidade da Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE) e coordenador do Grupo de Tradução Brenno Silveira.
