Metáforas no Serviço Social: um tipo específico de conhecimento profissional?, Rudolf Schmitt
Abstract
Schön (1979) já defendeu que as metáforas são elementos centrais no conhecimento profissional. O Serviço Social pode ser tomado como um bom exemplo dessa ideia porque o complexo conhecimento desse campo abarca intervenções numa ampla extensão de problemas tanto individuais como sociais. As redes semânticas do conhecimento profissional, que emergem a partir de conceitos metafóricos, permitem uma abstração, o que propicia generalizações a partir de casos individuais; elas são específicas o suficiente para promover instruções em situações particulares e estão ancoradas numa experiência de socialização pré-teórica, na qual os valores culturais já foram ensinados.References
