Abstract

The aim of this work is to present some contributions that computational tools can provide to teacher's education. Based on an experience with a group of prospective teachers in mathematics, we proposed problems that could be solved using spreadsheets, Using the TPACK model, which types of knowledge were assimilated during the implementation of these activities and what barriers were interposed by the use of digital technology. We verified, among others aspects, that the use of computer tools in the classroom will not necessarily make the teacher's work easier since it will require a planning and a very careful preparation of activities, in addition to attention and reflection during its application.
