Hunger is the main cause of death and helplessness on the planet, silently killing millions of people every day. Therefore, food security and public health play fundamental roles in understanding the context of migration and immigration in countries affected by hunger, reflecting not only the nutritional status of populations, but also the vulnerabilities that people experience. Food insecurity is a perverse form of hunger that feeds the contemporary world, making people invisible and killing them through multiple violations. It is true to say that hunger weakens the world's population and harms fundamental human rights across borders. Thus, this text aims to discuss hunger-related vulnerabilities among migrants and refugees in the global panorama of migratory flows and food security. Based on a narrative literature review and documentary research, this paper presents data on the current scenario of global hunger, which deepens the understanding of how the human rights of migrants and refugees can be incorporated into the strategies of international cooperation policies in the fight for a dignified life for all.
