Archiving Policy

As part of its digital preservation policy, Revista Cartema uses:

       • The LOCKSS system (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), developed by Stanford University. This system enables the creation of a distributed archive among participating libraries, ensuring the permanent preservation and restoration of published content.        • The PKP PN system in the Open Journal System to maintain the article archiving system. https://pkp.sfu.ca/pkp-pn

       • The CLOCKSS system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries and to allow them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration. The CLOCKSS system has permission to ingest, preserve, and serve this Archival Unit.

       • In addition, the articles are preserved in the Library System of the Federal University of Pernambuco.
