Due to urban expansion and demographic pressure that is currently taking place in the northern of the city of Manaus, are significant environmental impacts of the lack of planning and inefficient supervision by the Government. Urban watersheds are the most vulnerable locations because land use has taken place on the Permanent Preservation Areas - PPA and on flood plains or the works of interventions on the channels of streams. In this geographical area, the state government through housing policies, has built housing blocks of affordable home to low-income groups and the works of interventions on the landforms has not shown proper planning, particularly seen on the areas of slopes, background valleys and small basins, which are being impacted with direct destructive effects on hydrous bodies. The objective of this research was to analyze the environmental impacts in a watershed, caused by the construction of John Paul II neighborhood. Based on field data surveys, construction of thematic maps from satellite imagery, air photograph record produced by a sensor embedded in the deck of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle - UAV (Quadricóptero Phantom V3.0 2) to obtain current information in two spots and use of Geographic Information System - GIS, it was possible to identify the main environmental impacts in the watershed.
