The water despite being an abundant resource is a finite resource and its availability and distribution is limited. Thus it is extremely important studies about monitoring your in order to ensure that the availability is compatible with the demand, and prevent its indiscriminate use. Therefore it’s aimed to investigate the situation of water availability in the municipalities belonging to the Watershed of the Médio Jaguaribe, as well as have been used to water in the region. Efforts were also made to see how the use of water influenced the river levels are belonging to basin. The data used were obtained from the National Water Agency (ANA), to the cities of Jaguaribe, Jaguaretama, Jaguaribara, Deputado Irapuan Pinheiro, Milha, Pereiro, Potiretama, São João do Jaguaribe, Alto Santo, Ererê, Iracema and Tabuleiro do Norte for the variables height, flow and rainfall for the period 1978-2014 (37 years), with in some cases, unavailability of data. However due to lack of data availability, some cities had the following periods: 1989-2014 (26 years), 1943-1964 (22 years), 1980-2014 (34 years), and 1949-1981 (33 years). For analysis of data trends were applied the Mann Kendall test and the T-Student significance test. For the whole period, the trend analyzes show that the municipalities of Jaguaribe, Jaguaretama, Jaguaribara, Irapuan Pinheiro, Milha, Pereiro, Potiretama, São João do Jaguaribe showed a decrease in precipitation, and only the municipalities of Alto Santo, Ererê, Iracema and Tabuleiro do Norte showed increasing trends. It was observed that there was a decrease in height and flow that were also observed increase of precipitation, this is, the amount of precipitation increased but the amount of water in rivers decreased due use of water.
