Potential Wind Regionalization in the Ceará State
ABSTRACT
In this work were used originating data of automatic nets (PCDs) spread by everybody Messoregião of the Ceará state, with given horary wind and direction to 10 m of height in the period from 2003 to 2006. The research goal was the determination of the average horary power of the predominant direction of the wind. For so much, it identified the relative frequency associated to the average horary speed of the wind in the predominant direction; they esteemed the distribution parameters Weibull according to the maxim verisimilitude method. In function of the introduced results in this work, it verified that among the studied stations that that presented for minor power wind was Icó (4.32 W/m²), while Amontada (71.09 W/m²) registered the biggest power wind. Regarding Messoregião the biggest registered powers was during the triad October by October (frequency of 61%). In the From Ceará North the biggest powers were everybody registers in October month; while at the centre From Ceará was in July; and the larger variability regions were Messoregião of the Northwest and of Jaguaribe. Finally, all the areas conserve in a half-yearly very clear cycle, being the maxims variations are between June and December and the ones of minimum between March and May.
