Usos da Linguagem em Fóruns de Ead

Abstract

A hipótese deste trabalho é que a pouca participação dos alunos em fóruns educacionais em ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem (AVAs) deve-se parcialmente a exigências de uso formal da linguagem que inibem os estudantes e desvirtuam o funcionamento espontâneo do gênero fórum. Ilustrando a questão, selecionamos exemplos do fórum temático de um curso de Letras a Distância para, numa análise qualitativa, avaliar possíveis implicações das restrições de uso da linguagem sobre a participação e aprendizagem dos alunos.
