“A propósito da metáfora” (1975), de Luiz Antônio Marcuschi: apontamentos para uma perspectiva sociocognitiva e interacional da metaforicidade

Este texto tem por objetivo apontar tendências teóricas importantes para a reflexão atual sobre a metáfora anunciadas já em 1975 por Luiz Antônio Marcuschi em um ensaio intitulado “A propósito da metáfora”, retomada em 2000. Dentre esses tendências, importantes para o estudo sociocognitivo do fenômeno, apontamos o papel da comparação na constituição da metáfora, a relação da metáfora com teorias do conhecimento e a identificação do escopo de compreensão da figuratividade: o uso real da linguagem e a atividade comunicativa.
