The article discusses the contributions of the Supervised Internship in Geography to student protagonism in the curricularization of university extension. The text is the result of research carried out within the scope of our teaching experiences in the curricular components of Supervised Internship in Geography of the degree course in Geography at the Universidade do Estado da Bahia, Campus IV, Jacobina. The work sought to answer the following problem: how can the Supervised Internship in Geography contribute to student protagonism in the extension curricularization? The methodological basis was a qualitative approach, with the procedure being bibliographical research and action research in a class of undergraduate students from the sixth semester of the year 2024, between the months of August and December, with classes, pedagogical workshops, observations and photographic records. The data obtained in the research reveal the contributions of the Supervised Internship to the protagonism of interns in the extension curricularization actions, by involving the active participation of these students in conducting and intervention activities in non-school educational spaces, through projects articulated with the social, political and economic demands of society and promoting the exchange of knowledge between university and community, uniting theory with practice, teaching, research and extension, as well as strengthening the process of integral training of these students.
