This study presents the results of the evaluation of an application developed to guide society on the thermal comfort index and present the atmospheric conditions in a particular region selected for outdoor physical activity. The application obtains and processes the values of atmospheric variables observed on various meteorological data collection platforms installed in the state of Ceará (Brazil) and the variables predicted by numerical forecasts through an API (Application Programming Interface) developed by the Ceará Meteorology and Water Resources Foundation (Funceme). The results of the tests with users showed that the concept of perceived thermal comfort is in line with that attributed by the application on different days and at different times by the application, with more than 70 per cent of the user responses relating to the use of the application and its attributes and functions, being received as accepted under conditions of optimal to excellent.
