Sistemas Atmosféricos e Índice de Conforto Térmico no Estado de Santa Catarina – Ensaio a partir do Verão 2011/2012 (Weather Systems and Thermal Comfort Index in the State of Santa Catarina - Essay from Summer 2011/2012)

A presente pesquisa visou abordar as articulações entre os sistemas atmosféricos atuantes no verão (2011/2012) no Estado de Santa Catarina e os reflexos nos índices de conforto térmico (ICT). Para isso, aplicou-se a metodologia de análise rítmica e cálculos de ICT em dados de 13 estações meteorológicas localizadas em diferentes mesorregiões do estado. Os resultados indicam que houve articulações entre os sistemas atmosféricos e os fatores geográficos locais. De modo geral a massa tropical continental (mTc) e a massa tropical atlântica (mTa) estiveram sempre vinculadas a sensações de grande a máximo desconforto pelo calor. Por outro lado, os sistemas frontais (SF) e, principalmente, a massa polar atlântica (mPa) atuaram na condição de frio e muito frio nas áreas do planalto e de nenhum desconforto na fachada litorânea. A massa equatorial continental (mEc), por sua vez, promoveu situações de nenhum desconforto intercalada por sensações de grande e máximo desconforto pelo calor à tarde. Por fim, apresenta-se uma classificação síntese do conforto térmico no estado de Santa Catarina no período estudado, vinculando os resultados aos fatores geográficos e sistemas atmosféricos.Downloads
