Ecoturism planning in the peasant community of huancaya-yauyos, Lima

Abstract

The objective of the work was to determine the planning of ecotourism in the peasant community of Huancaya. The Physical, Socioeconomic, Cultural diagnosis and location of the ecotourism resources by geographical coordinates and their altitude were carried out. The deductive, descriptive and analysis-synthesis method was used, as well as the observation method, in three field trips using basic plans, GPS, road maps. The results obtained allowed us to qualitatively elaborate a list of places of tourist interest in the rural community of Huancaya in accordance with the guidelines of the National Strategic Plan for Sustainable Tourism, since the area has resources and eco-tourism attractions such as natural sites, cultural manifestations that motivate national and international tourist currents developingin the future a competitive and sustainable national ecotourism offer, keeping the biodiversity and cultural manifestations of the worked area unchanged. Ecotourism in the district of Huancaya is presented as a development alternative as it has exceptional tourism resources for its management and planning; The limitation is the lack of concern of the inhabitants about the tourist attractions, improvement of the road infrastructure for the transfer of visitors and the services that have a low quality both in the presentation and provision, which will be overcome with permanent training. , the planning and enhancement of the resources of the Huancaya community.
