Fragmentação da vegetação de Cerrado, entre os anos de 1984 e 2011 no Parque Estadual do Cerrado (Jaguariaíva-PR) e em sua zona de amortecimento.

O Cerrado, formação vegetal que já ocupou cerca de 24% de todo o território brasileiro, atualmente se encontra em um contexto de grande fragmentação. Esta situação não é exclusiva da região próxima à sua área nuclear, onde a vegetação nativa foi substituída por atividades agropecuárias, mas pode-se evidenciar um acentuado grau de fragmentação também nos seus ecótones com outras relevantes formações vegetais, comprometendo as funções ecológicas que mantêm o seu equilíbrio natural. É exatamente em uma dessas faixas de transição que este trabalho foca suas análises, através do objetivo de estudar a dinâmica espacial da fragmentação da vegetação de Cerrado, entre os anos de 1984 até 2011 no Parque Estadual do Cerrado (Jaguariaíva/PR) e em sua Zona de Amortecimento. Para realizar a análise foram utilizadas 28 imagens Landsat TM 5, nestas foram identificados os fragmentos de Cerrado presentes na Zona de Amortecimento do parque e posteriormente, através da operação algébrica de adição das imagens foram gerados 28 cartogramas (ano X ano). A quantificação dos pixeis de interseção entre as datas analisadas revelou uma grande instabilidade entre os fragmentos, principalmente no período pós 1999, o que demonstra um cenário propício para o decaimento de ecossistemas. A função ecológica dessa Unidade de Conservação, caso este quadro de fragmentação perdure, torna-se cada vez mais questionável.Downloads
