Studies related to sedimentology relating granulometry, morphoscopy and carbonate levels in beach environments were carried out on five beaches on the main island of the Fernando de Noronha Archipelago: Praia da Conceição, Praia do Boldró, Bode, Quixambinha and Cacimba do Padre in October 2021 samples were collected from the beachfront and post-beach environments. This region tends to NE-SW characterized by the occurrence of sandy beaches with variable length separated by rocky cliffs and promontories. These rocks are spilled from ankaritic lavas of the Quixaba Formation. The studied region has environments of sandy beaches with textural characteristics, specific granulometry and varied carbonate contents. The beaches found a smooth slope and the presence of water left by the occurrence of high tide and presented fine sediments, present in the foreshore. Vegetation in the almost non-existent beach environment and a reduced or absent post-beach. Based on the average diameter of the grains collected on each beach, these showed a predominance of fine sand, carbonate levels above 50% and varied morphology.
