In this article we will deal with the relationship between subject, ethics and education in the thought of Edgar Morin. We will have as the main basis of our bibliographical research the following works by the author: Method 2: the life of life; Method 6: ethics; Teaching to live: manifesto to change education. Initially, we will see how the Morinian conception of the subject, according to which the self can oscillate between selfishness and altruism, appears as the foundation of the author's work. Next, we will present some aspects of Morin's ethics and, finally, we will see some educational propositions where Morin seeks to establish a relationship between the autonomy and altruism of the human subject. We will conclude by highlighting that the author's ethical and educational propositions are based on the idea of a subject literally identified with life.References
