The book Uma boneca no lixo enables a reading that through the social and technical-teatrical character allows one extensive analysis of political and social elements prevailing in the structurally racist and capitalist society. The main focus of this research involves the literary study of Sobral’s text, taking into consideration the strong presence of Epic Theater and Conceição Evaristo in the theatrical text. From these meetings it was possible to obtain a powerful provocation contained in Sobral’s work, as a black writer, that makes it possible to question a lot of prejudices and racism impregnated in society through her politicizing work.
