Emissão de Gases Poluentes por Veículos Automotivos em Recife – PE (Pollutant Gas Emission by Automotive Vehicles in Recife – PE)

As fontes veiculares têm uma participação acentuada na degradação da qualidade do ar atmosférico, principalmente em grandes centros urbanos. Os problemas relacionados à saúde humana, devido à poluição atmosférica, são diversos. Este trabalho consiste em avaliar a emissão dos gases Óxido de Nitrogênio (NOx), Hidrocarbonetos (HC), Monóxido de Carbono (CO), Dióxido de Carbono (CO2) e material particulado (MP10), por automóvel e por tipo de combustível (gasolina e/ou álcool), na cidade do Recife, no período de 1990 a 2013, visando identificar as tendências das séries temporais e propor medidas de redução das emissões veiculares. Foram realizadas levantamento dos dados da frota dos veículos e dos valores de emissões em g/km dos gases e material particulado. Através da equação da curva de tendência para o oxido de nitrogênio, hidrocarbonetos e monóxido de carbono, tanto na utilização apenas do álcool como da gasolina, os valores totais anuais iniciam novo crescimento entre 2010 e 2020. Para o dióxido de carbono e material particulado, atualmente estamos num período de ascensão das taxas de emissões, sem perspectiva de redução.Downloads
