Ocupação da Orla e os Impactos Socioambientais no Município de Cidreira, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil

O litoral apresenta grande beleza e diversidade, sendo por este motivo alvo de uma intensa especulação imobiliária, atraindo um grande número de turistas e veranistas. Esse processo altera a paisagem natural e provoca impactos ambientais, muitas vezes irreversíveis, caso não ocorra um planejamento prévio. A intensa ocupação residencial e hoteleira acarreta degradação ambiental nos sistemas litorâneos (dinâmicos) tornando-os frágeis. Neste contexto, este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar os impactos presentes na orla do Município de Cidreira (Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil), provenientes tanto da ação natural como antrópica, baseado num estudo das relações existentes entre sociedade e natureza. A metodologia baseou-se na coleta de dados, trabalhos de campo e aplicação de questionários estruturados. Como resultado foi possível perceber a mudança da paisagem natural e a degradação da orla - processo erosional avançando sobre as residências. Como conclusão deste trabalho foi possível constatar que há necessidade da implantação de uma série de medidas preventivas e compensatórias, tanto no âmbito das esferas federal, estadual, como municipal.
