The book A via crucis do corpo, by Clarice Lispector, published in 1974, commissioned by the editor Paulo Pacheco, was the writer's first book to address the theme of sex. Clarice surprised the specialized critics of the time, and many considered the book “a garbage”. This article aims to work the preface, called explanation, and the tales of the man who appeared, for now and day after day, where there is an author-narrator-character. We seek to show the intention of staging or (dis)simulating suffering due to the act of writing on demand and about a controversial topic such as sex, relating creative action to via crucis.References
