Contaminantes Emergentes, Bibliometria, Recursos HídricosAbstract
Water is a natural resource that has been heavily contaminated by chemical substances from human activities, such as pharmaceuticals, over the years, increasing the risks to the health of the population and the environment. Therefore, this paper aims to provide an overview of how research in this area is developing. In order to reveal the most interesting points that arise on the subject, bibliometric analysis studies were applied using the VOSviewer software. The database used was the Web of Science Core Collection and the results were presented with information visualization graphs and quantitative data. The results showed that India and China are the countries that have developed the most research in the area. The low number of articles found together with temporal analysis showed that the concern with research on the subject was mainly in the last decade.
