Estudo longitudinal da aquisição fonológica de criança com Síndrome de Down

This paper analyzes the acquisition of speech of children with Down's syndrome in a longitudinal study in order to follow individual developmental characteristics. The research considers repair strategies in the acquisition and is supported by Models Based on the Use (BYBEE, 2001, 2010). It is a case study with a child, involving periodic recordings from his 5 months to his 2 years old. The analysis pointed to a gradual sound acquisition, with the effect of frequency effects, on the preferential production of earlier consonant sounds and the consonant-vowel syllabic type.References
