About the Journal

The Perspectiva Filosófica is the academic journal of the Graduate Program in Philosophy at UFPE. It has been undergoing an intense process of revitalizing its activities since March 2020 and it is currently in the upper bracket of the Qualis evaluation (B1).

Perspectiva Filosófica completed 30 years in 2022 with publications that demonstrate its importance to the Brazilian philosophical and scientific community.

The journal's current editor-in-chief is Marcos Silva (UFPE/CNPq).

Every semester, the journal presents articles, translations, and analyses by doctoral students, doctors, and professors from Brazilian and foreign universities.

The journal accepts contributions on a continuous basis.

This journal is updated by the Pro-Rectory of Research and Innovation of the Federal University of Pernambuco (PROPESQI), through the Institutional Support Program for UFPE Journals.
