VISUAL THINKING AND NEURODIDATICS FOR A NON-SEXIST AND NON- ADULT-CENTERED EDUCATION
ANALYSIS OF THREE EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGNS AT THE AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY OF MADRID

The present work proposes to analyze, based on images and their didactic potential, the learning and transformations of/in the educational environment from a feminist (Ochoa, 2007; Morgade, 2011) and non-adult-centered (Tardelli, 2021) perspective, especially in its relationship with the psychology of affections and emotions that images are capable of developing (Abreu Agrela Rodrigues, 2022). The objective is to consider new forms of teaching-learning, based on the development of more sensitive theories, such as Visual Thinking, which uses intuition, mobility and creativity involving images, whose processing takes place in an isolated and primordial way, on the left side of the brain (Ciguenza, 2021). To this end, a content analysis was carried out on three educational campaigns with this potential, which will be held in 2023 at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, at the Autonomous University of Madrid, whose difference is given by the emphasis on image communication in non-sexist content. and against gender inequality since childhood, something essential in the training of pedagogues working in non-sexist Education. The article, therefore, is organized into four parts: 1) the historical contextualization of the hegemonic forms of “knowledge transmission” in Education; 2) contributions of Visual Thinking to neurodidactics as possibilities for dialogue and appropriation by feminist theory; 3) presentation and analysis of the three UAM educational campaigns; and 4) results and perspectives.
